original cover

["Strange record this, from Bladder Flask (a.k.a. Funeral Danceparty). Very scrap merchant, very Dada, with all manner of mainly acoustic instruments such as piano, sax, cello, guitar, synth, percussion, drum-machine, tape treatments etc. There's no real structure or cohesion on either of the 2 side-long tracks - just seemingly random forrays on specific instruments in short bursts of spontaneity. If you're looking for any comparisons, then I suppose Nurse With Wound's "Merzbild Schwet" would be as good as any: a mixture of 'musique concrete' & instrumental collages, but more intense & compact than NWW. Within each burst of activity rhythms are established but never long enough for the listener to be able to say "Ah, I know what's coming next !" In a way, this has its good & bad points: good in the fact that there's nothing predictable or bland about the music, but bad when you're enjoying a particular idea only for it to finish, with another one taking its place. Overall though, I'd say this is an extremely interesting album - very cleverly done, especially the editing of complex tape treatments, and general high quality production (as clean & professional as any NWW recording). Recommended" (David Elliott)]

There are some other ideas and matters I'd like to talk to you about so... drop me a line to get in touch... or just learn more !

Hope to hear from You !
